Because of his condition his dad spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals growing up. He loved it when the clowns came in to visit him because it cheered him up so when he was older he decided that he would become a clown also because that was his passion and he wanted to make others happy too. He was AMAZING with balloon animals. My favorite animal that he made for me was the 'two dogs kissing'. I told Frank that he needed to step it up a notch in his balloon skills too so he could learn to make that as well for me!

Dave was known as 'Wheeler The Clown'. When he did birthday parties he would take Frank along as his side kick and Frank would dress up as a clown as well.

Dave was always supportive of Frank and I and always was there to talk to or give help when needed. When Alyson was born he was up at the hospital to help give her a blessing and also went up on numerous other occasions to visit her or give her blessings when she was not doing so good. I always appreciated that so much...that he would drop whatever he was doing to help us out.
Dave was such an awesome guy and fought for many years through illnesses and surgeries and beat the Dr.'s odds against him. I am lucky that my daughters had the chance to meet their grandpa. He loved our girls SO much and was so excited to be a grandpa! I feel so blessed to have known him and his great strength and testimony.
