Alyson was extubated today meaning she no longer needs the breathing machine!!! She was only on it for 7.5 hours and looks like she feels much better after having it out. She is our little fighter! It will be a couple of days before all the stuff shown in her post-op picture goes away but nevertheless she is doing so good.....better than what I thought she would have done.
And yes, if you noticed I have Alyson's hair bow in! You can't have a girl and not put hair bows on!!! :o) The nurse she had earlier saw the bow she was wearing that morning and said to put it on. We have to keep the maintenance of our little girl up...in or out of the hospital!

YAY Alyson!!! You are such a cute girl. Good for your mama for making sure you look like one, especially in that puffy stage. :) Sounds like your body held up really well for this surgery. Way to go!
